The year of 2025 will be remembered as a rollercoaster for the Jeff Caught Stable as it started off with a high when Fast Missile won first up in January and then Heza Romeo winning at Warwick for Troy and Alyssa Sweeney in December to cap off the year.

There have been plenty of hurdles during the year starting off with record rainfall of over 2000mls in 2 months which flooded the old stable complex 3 times in 2 months then moving into the new on course facilities in the middle part of the year.

Then as we do every year the stable targeted most of the winter carnival races at Townsville and Cairns with old campaigners such as Third Realm, He's Xceptional without success even though they both ran well. They are both now enjoying retirement as we look for our 2026 carnival horses.

Some of the year's highlights were:
Central Park winning 3 out of 5 starts for Billy Healey Racing.
Foneeleven winning his first race start by 6 lengths.
Not Worth It winning on Home Hill Cup Day 1st up after a year off.
Heza Romeo breaking his maiden for Troy and Alyssa Sweeney at Warwick after having barrier issues.
